The Medical Director for Clinical Policy will contribute to the Royal College's efforts to influence clinical policy across the United Kingdom.
The primary objective of the role is to influence national decision-makers, clinical policies, and commissioning guidance to improve outcomes for General Practitioners and their patients.
The successful candidate will work closely with policy leadership, elected College officers, and clinical stakeholders to develop evidence-based policy positions and ensure the views of RCGP members are represented in national healthcare discussions.

Work closely with:
Ensure member perspectives are represented with key external stakeholders
Provide clinical leadership to the RCGP Clinical Adviser Network and College Representatives
Support the Vice President for Member Standards on:
Provide clinical expertise and guidance to senior leadership and College officers
Collaborate with policy, public affairs, communications, and media teams on clinical policy matters
Support the College's broader policy and advocacy initiatives
