Position
Chief Operating Officer (Fractional / Part-Time)
Reports To: Chief Executive Officer
Location: Remote (GMT ±3 Hours)

Compensation
£100,000 – £120,000 FTE Equivalent
Compensation will be prorated based on agreed time commitment.

Role Overview
Simprints is seeking a Fractional Chief Operating Officer to help strengthen organizational execution, governance, accountability, and AI integration as the company enters a new phase of growth and operational complexity.
This is not a traditional operational leadership role responsible for managing departments directly.
Instead, the COO will function as an embedded executive operator focused on improving how teams work together, strengthening organizational clarity, reducing operational friction, and helping leadership translate strategy into effective execution.
The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and Management Team to improve organizational maturity while maintaining Simprints' agile and mission-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
Drive operational execution across the organization by strengthening alignment, accountability, and coordination between departments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Chairing weekly Management Team meetings
- Translating strategic priorities into actionable execution plans
- Strengthening organizational accountability
- Improving visibility across cross-functional initiatives
- Identifying operational bottlenecks and friction points
- Supporting leadership alignment
Operational Governance & Compliance
Support the continued development of operational governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
Responsibilities include:
- Improving operational coordination around legal and compliance initiatives
- Supporting country registration and international operational infrastructure projects
- Strengthening governance visibility and reporting
- Improving operational risk management processes
- Coordinating with internal stakeholders responsible for cybersecurity and data protection
AI Transformation & Operational Enablement
Support the organization's AI adoption initiatives by embedding practical AI-enabled workflows into day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying opportunities for automation and operational efficiency
- Supporting AI adoption across functional teams
- Improving organizational productivity through technology-enabled workflows
- Helping teams implement scalable AI-supported processes
