Executive Director

Salary: £94,851 plus benefits

The starting salary and benefits package may vary depending on candidate location in alignment with the organization’s compensation philosophy.

The Role

Mary’s Meals International (MMI) is seeking a visionary and mission-driven Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization.

Reporting to the Board of Trustees through the Board Chair and working closely with the President & Founder of Mary’s Meals, the Executive Director will oversee the delivery of MMI’s responsibilities within the global strategic plan.

The role requires leadership grounded in humility, clarity, and courage while supporting the continued growth of the organization’s global movement and mission.

Key Responsibilities

Lead MMI in delivering objectives across the organization’s strategic pillars: Feed, Grow, and Strengthen

Oversee coordination and implementation of the global strategic plan

Provide leadership to MMI and the Executive Leadership Team

Strengthen organizational systems, governance, and operational development

Foster collaboration across the global network

Support sustainable growth across affiliate organizations in partnership with the Board, President & Founder, and internal teams

About You

The ideal candidate will be an authentic and experienced executive leader with prior experience at CEO or executive leadership level within complex organizations, ideally with international operations.

Experience within nonprofit, charity, or social impact organizations is preferred but not essential.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior engagement or alignment with the mission of Mary’s Meals.

Required Experience & Skills

Proven ability to inspire and lead senior leadership teams

Demonstrated experience developing and executing organizational strategy

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience leading transformational change while maintaining organizational stability

Strong personal alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Mary’s Meals

Remote and flexible working arrangements available

Travel to Glasgow, other UK locations, and international program locations may be required
