The Cyber Leadership Institute (CLI) provides leadership training, coaching, and community programs for CISOs and cybersecurity leaders globally.
The organization supports professionals across more than 80 countries through enterprise memberships, leadership programs, and online resources focused on governance, executive influence, cyber resilience, and board communication.
CLI’s long-term vision is to train more than 10,000 cyber leaders globally.
This is not a traditional COO role.
The position serves as the operational right hand to the CEO and co-founders of a fast-growing global EdTech company operating at the intersection of cybersecurity, leadership, and AI.
The organization is entering a growth phase focused on operational scalability, process improvement, automation, and sustainable business expansion.
The role is ideal for an operational leader who enjoys improving systems, resolving bottlenecks, implementing scalable workflows, and working closely with founders in fast-moving environments.
Candidates may currently hold titles such as:
Head of Operations
Chief of Staff
Senior Operations Manager
Revenue Operations Leader
Startup or scale-up operator seeking broader ownership
Prior COO experience is not required.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the COO will help operate the business day-to-day while translating strategy into execution.
This is a highly hands-on role involving direct participation in building, documenting, automating, improving, and optimizing operational systems.

Translate strategic priorities into measurable plans, OKRs, KPIs, and execution frameworks
Drive accountability, planning cycles, and operational follow-through
Maintain organizational focus on high-value initiatives
Build AI-enabled workflows using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, CRM platforms, and automation systems
Develop repeatable operational processes and playbooks
Improve reporting, productivity, and workflow efficiency
Support team adoption of AI-enabled operational practices
Improve CRM management and pipeline visibility
Optimize lead management, onboarding, workflow automation, and campaign execution
Support commercial decisions related to pricing, customer segments, and offers
Support budgeting, forecasting, pricing, supplier, and contract management decisions
Improve visibility into revenue, margins, and operational performance
Drive operational efficiency and cost management initiatives
Improve workflows, onboarding, documentation, and remote team coordination
Build scalable systems that reduce operational friction
Support a high-performance remote work culture
Coordinate effectively with distributed and offshore contributors
Strong operational execution and systems-thinking capabilities
Experience working closely with founders or senior leadership teams
Hands-on experience using AI and automation tools to improve operations, reporting, sales, or marketing workflows
Commercial judgment and familiarity with CRM systems and customer lifecycle operations
Strong communication skills and ownership mentality
Experience operating within remote or distributed teams
