A highly respected and long-established UK food group is seeking an independent Non-Executive Director to join its Board during a period of strategic growth and organizational development.

The Non-Executive Director will provide independent oversight, strategic guidance, governance support, and board-level challenge to the executive leadership team.
The role focuses on strengthening governance, supporting long-term growth strategy, and contributing to financial oversight and organizational development within a complex, multi-site operating environment.

Provide independent strategic guidance and constructive challenge to executive leadership.
Support governance, financial oversight, and enterprise risk management activities.

Senior leadership experience within food manufacturing, FMCG, or related consumer sectors.
Experience operating within businesses exceeding £500 million in scale preferred.
Exposure to complex, multi-site operational environments.
Strong understanding of governance, financial controls, enterprise risk, and board dynamics.
Prior experience as a Non-Executive Director, Executive Director, or readiness to transition into a first NED role.
Strong communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to provide constructive challenge while maintaining a collaborative leadership style.
