International Federation of Environmental Health
Reporting to the National Executive, the National Executive Officer serves as the primary liaison for the organization and is responsible for implementing administration and financial management activities.
The organization is seeking a driven, team-focused professional with experience in administration, finance, and/or environmental health sectors.
This role is intended for a self-motivated and results-oriented individual who can deliver high-quality outcomes across the environmental health sector.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with senior executives, political stakeholders, academics, students, and international partners while supporting associations across Australia.

Strong strategic communicator with a professional presentation style
Flexible and mobile enough to support teams nationally and liaise with international partners
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and member support
Understanding of finance, office administration, accounting, and company compliance requirements
Strong research and report writing skills
Comprehensive computer skills, including office systems and accounting software
Knowledge of payroll processing, personnel functions, and legislative requirements
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Highly developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Experience in organizational communication, publicity, and publications
Experience training and supervising staff
Experience within the university sector, education and training, and the Australian Quality Framework
