Chief Growth Officer
Location: Cambridge, UK or Remote (UK)
Work Arrangement: Remote with Regular Travel to Cambridge and International Travel
Employment Type: Permanent
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Flexible
Compensation
£105,000 - £125,000 per annum (Full-Time Equivalent)
Salary dependent upon experience.
Role Overview
The Chief Growth Officer will lead the expansion of the Foundation's educational impact across priority markets including:
- India
- Kenya
- South Africa
- United Kingdom
- Ireland
The role also leads the Foundation's global partnerships function, developing relationships that extend the organization's reach and impact internationally.
As a member of the Executive Team, the Chief Growth Officer will help shape organizational strategy, culture, and long-term priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion
- Develop and deliver growth strategies across priority markets
- Ensure programs are tailored to local educational needs
- Expand reach and impact through scalable growth initiatives
- Drive evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement
Country & Regional Leadership
- Lead country and regional teams across multiple international markets
- Provide strategic direction, support, and accountability
- Build infrastructure and capabilities required for long-term growth
- Support local execution while maintaining global alignment
Global Partnerships
- Lead the Foundation's partnership strategy
- Develop relationships with governments, NGOs, foundations, and mission-aligned organizations
- Expand global reach through strategic partnerships
- Manage and steward key stakeholder relationships
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with executive peers across:
- Finance
- Learning
- Marketing
- Technology & Product
- Lead cross-functional initiatives
- Support organizational planning and execution
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Ensure programs have clear measurement frameworks
- Evaluate impact against organizational goals
- Use evidence and data to improve program effectiveness
Fundraising & Business Development
- Support fundraising efforts
- Identify new growth opportunities
- Engage with funders and strategic partners
- Contribute to organizational sustainability and expansion
Required Experience
International Education Leadership
- Proven experience growing education programs at scale
- Experience working across multiple countries and diverse environments
- Understanding of education systems within low- and middle-income countries
Strategic Partnerships
- Experience managing high-value relationships with:
- Governments
- NGOs
- International organizations
- Philanthropic partners
Executive Leadership
- Experience leading geographically distributed teams
- Strong people leadership and management skills
