The client is a fast-growing startup operating at the intersection of cannabis and digital health.

The company is building a patient-first platform designed to make it easier for practitioners to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients seeking natural alternatives, while improving access to care for patients.

The Role

The company is seeking an Authorised Prescriber of medicinal cannabis, General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or other healthcare professional already established in the field to join its growing clinical network.

The role involves conducting telehealth consultations with patients from anywhere in Australia, with flexible scheduling designed to accommodate existing professional commitments such as private practice, hospital work or other clinical roles.

The platform is product agnostic, allowing clinicians to focus on individual patient needs while providing access to continually updated research and clinical resources.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care

• Conduct telehealth consultations with patients managing conditions who are interested in natural alternatives.
• Manage patient treatment plans and maintain clear clinical notes and medical records.
• Prescribe medicinal cannabis and other natural alternative medicines.
• Provide patient-focused, compassionate care.

Clinical & Practice Development

• Expand your existing patient base with support from the platform.
• Contribute clinical insight to help shape best practice as the company grows.
• Work collaboratively with the broader clinical team and contribute to the development of the growing field.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration.
• Existing Authorised Prescriber status for medicinal cannabis.
• Demonstrated experience prescribing medicinal cannabis.
• Independent medical insurance policy.
• Suitable, professional space for consultations.
• Exceptional patient-focused approach and compassionate communication skills.
• Collaborative and engaged approach to working within a growing clinical field.
• Must be based in Australia.
• PG3+ required.

Compensation

Up to AUD $220/hour
