Veep is seeking a hands-on Fractional Chief Financial Officer with renewable energy finance experience to support an early-stage company operating within the EV charging and infrastructure sector.
The role will work closely with the founder to lead fundraising, financial strategy, capital planning, and operational finance initiatives while helping scale the company’s commercial and geographic operations.

Provide strategic financial leadership alongside the company founder.
Lead fundraising activities including equity, debt, grants, and strategic financing initiatives.
Prepare investor materials and manage investor relationships.
Assess and improve finance systems, processes, and operational infrastructure.
Build and oversee FP&A processes, cash flow management, financial modeling, and capital planning.
Develop and monitor financial KPIs including burn rate, runway, unit economics, and profitability metrics.
Support project financing, grant applications, commercial contracts, and partnership negotiations.
Advise on pricing strategy, revenue recognition, and contract structures related to charging infrastructure and service models.
Communicate financial performance and strategic priorities to stakeholders and investors.
Minimum of two years of C-suite experience within venture-backed companies or senior finance leadership experience at larger organizations.
At least four years of direct experience within renewable energy, EV charging, or mobility infrastructure sectors.
Strong understanding of EV charging station economics and infrastructure financing.
Demonstrated experience leading Seed or Series A fundraising rounds.
Experience with debt financing and structured project finance is preferred.
Prior experience in fractional, interim, or part-time executive roles preferred.
Strong financial modeling, operational finance, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to operate effectively within ambiguous and resource-constrained startup environments.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and investor relations abilities.
Professional proficiency in spoken and written Korean required.
