The Vice President of Finance will lead the company’s financial strategy, financial operations, planning processes, and financial infrastructure as LearnLux continues to scale.
Reporting to the COO and partnering closely with the CEO and Board, the role combines strategic finance leadership with hands-on operational ownership across FP&A, accounting oversight, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and financial systems development.
This is a high-impact leadership position designed for a finance executive comfortable operating within fast-growing startup environments where both strategic insight and execution discipline are critical.
Serve as a strategic finance partner to the CEO, COO, and Board.
Provide insight into company performance, capital efficiency, and long-term financial planning.
Support executive decision-making through financial analysis and strategic forecasting.
Lead forecasting, budgeting, scenario modeling, and financial planning activities.
Develop scalable financial planning processes to support organizational growth.
Support pricing analysis, revenue forecasting, renewals, and unit economics initiatives.
Oversee accounting operations in collaboration with outsourced accounting partners.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and GAAP compliance.
Manage tax coordination, audit readiness, internal controls, and regulatory compliance activities.
Build scalable financial systems, controls, and operational processes.
Support development of internal finance infrastructure as the business grows.
Help define the roadmap for future finance team expansion while remaining deeply involved operationally.
Partner with Product, Commercial, Client Success, People, and Legal teams on financial planning and operational alignment.
Support investor communications, capital planning, and future fundraising readiness as needed.
10+ years of progressive finance experience.
Senior finance leadership experience within high-growth SaaS, fintech, or technology-enabled businesses.
Experience building finance functions in Series A+ or growth-stage startups.
Strong expertise across FP&A, accounting oversight, financial operations, and strategic finance.
Deep understanding of GAAP, audits, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
Experience partnering closely with CEOs, COOs, and Boards.
Strong ownership mentality and comfort operating in less structured environments.
Experience with financial tools such as QuickBooks, Brex, Ramp, Carta, and HubSpot or similar platforms.
Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
MBA, CPA, or related credentials preferred.
Experience within benefits, wellness, or financial wellbeing industries strongly preferred.
Familiarity with global financial operations and multi-currency environments beneficial.
Salary range: $200,000–$275,000 USD.
