All In One Accounting is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer with strong expertise in professional services businesses.
This role combines executive-level financial leadership with hands-on operational finance support for entrepreneurial clients. The CFO serves as a strategic advisor to client leadership teams while also working closely with internal accounting staff to deliver high-quality financial services.
The role requires someone comfortable shifting between high-level strategic planning and detailed financial execution, such as building complex financial models or collaborating with accounting teams on operational financial processes.
Serve as a member of client executive leadership teams.
Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives in professional services organizations.
Lead financial decision-making and strategic initiatives that support long-term growth.
Provide financial coaching and advisory support to client leadership teams.
Support internal delivery teams with technical financial expertise and industry-specific guidance.
Develop financial models used to evaluate strategic decisions such as service expansion, technology investments, and office growth.
Create long-range cash flow forecasts and capital planning strategies tailored to professional services business cycles.
Analyze business performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Design and track key performance indicators relevant to client business operations.
Prepare annual operating plans and conduct variance analysis.
Oversee and optimize engagement costing and project profitability systems.
Implement processes that improve resource allocation and staff utilization.
Design accounting structures that generate actionable financial insights.
Develop pricing models that support profitability while remaining competitive in the market.
Lead month-end financial review meetings with clients and internal teams.
Oversee preparation and review of monthly financial statements and operational reports.
Present financial results and strategic insights during month-end closing meetings.
Analyze budget variances and communicate financial risks and opportunities.
Develop cash flow forecasts and strategic financial recommendations.
Serve as a liaison between clients and external advisors including bankers, attorneys, and CPAs.
Lead onboarding processes for new clients.
Mentor and support accountants within internal delivery teams.
Build strong relationships with client leadership and stakeholders.
Act as a liaison with external partners such as bankers, attorneys, investors, insurance providers, and CPA firms.
Support business development initiatives by contributing industry expertise.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and reporting requirements.
Implement financial controls related to service delivery and client engagement management.
Provide strategic insight related to talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning in professional services environments.
Minimum of 10 years of financial leadership experience with at least five years working within professional services industries.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience serving in executive-level financial advisory roles for professional services companies.
Proven ability to lead strategic growth initiatives.
Experience working with entrepreneurial, growth-focused small businesses.
Experience managing multiple client relationships is preferred.
Strong leadership, mentoring, and team development capabilities.
Deep technical expertise in accounting and financial management, including resource utilization analysis and technology investment planning.

Salary range: $125,000 to $165,000 annually.
Annual bonus potential of up to 10 percent of base salary.
