The business operates in a performance-driven environment where profitability, inventory control, cash flow management, and operational efficiency are critical to sustained growth.
The company is looking for a hands-on finance leader who can work directly with real business data and uncover actionable opportunities.
The company is hiring either a Finance Manager or Fractional CFO to bring clarity, control, and strategic financial insight to the organization.
This is a practical execution-focused role rather than a theoretical advisory position. The ideal candidate will analyze current financial performance, identify cash leaks, and help leadership make smarter growth decisions.
The engagement begins with an initial audit and deep financial review, with potential for ongoing collaboration based on fit and business needs.
You will build and analyze accurate profit and loss statements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
The role includes evaluating inventory value across on-hand stock, in-transit inventory, aging products, and slow-moving items.
You will review pending Shopify payouts, including reserves, delays, holds, and timing issues affecting liquidity.
You will assess treasury and cash flow position, including current cash availability, burn rate, and runway.
You will identify financial bottlenecks affecting profitability such as advertising inefficiencies, fulfillment costs, refunds, inventory issues, and operational leakage.
You will provide clear recommendations to improve liquidity, profitability, and capital efficiency.
You will help leadership understand where money is stuck versus where capital is generating returns.
Candidates should have proven experience as a Finance Manager, CFO, or Fractional CFO.
Strong e-commerce experience is required, with Shopify expertise mandatory.
You should have deep knowledge of DTC unit economics, inventory accounting, cash flow management, and advertising spend versus contribution margin.
Applicants must be comfortable working with raw data from platforms such as Shopify, Stripe, Meta, spreadsheets, and related systems.
Strong analytical ability, structure, and commercial judgment are essential.
Candidates must also be able to explain complex financial insights in a clear and simple way for founders and operators.
This is an opportunity to work directly with a growing e-commerce brand where your insights can have immediate commercial impact.
The engagement begins with a focused financial audit and can evolve into an ongoing strategic finance partnership.
You will help build a more profitable, cash-efficient, and scalable consumer business.
