The engagement is structured as a fractional, contract, or consultancy arrangement requiring approximately one to three days per week, with an initial duration of six to twelve months and potential extension based on business needs and performance.
The role focuses on accelerating revenue growth, strengthening strategic partnerships, enhancing market positioning, and expanding client relationships across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
You will develop and execute a commercial growth strategy aligned with company objectives, identifying priority therapeutic areas, service offerings, and geographic markets for expansion.
The role includes driving revenue across integrated CDMO services covering discovery, development, and manufacturing while improving pricing strategies, contract frameworks, and long-term pipeline planning.
You will build and strengthen executive relationships with pharmaceutical, biotech, and emerging biotech clients while securing strategic partnerships, licensing opportunities, and multi-year service agreements.
You will provide leadership to business development teams to improve conversion rates, pipeline quality, forecasting accuracy, and go-to-market performance across early discovery through commercial manufacturing services.
You will analyze market trends across small molecules, biologics, antibody-drug conjugates, oligonucleotides, and emerging modalities while identifying whitespace opportunities and strengthening competitive positioning.
The position also includes aligning commercial strategy with operational capacity, supporting collaboration between scientific and commercial teams, mentoring senior commercial leaders, and advising executives on strategic growth, partnerships, M&A, and board-level planning.
Candidates should have executive leadership experience within a CDMO, CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment.
You should possess strong knowledge of the drug development lifecycle from discovery through commercial manufacturing.
Applicants must demonstrate success in securing strategic partnerships, long-term service agreements, and driving revenue growth within highly technical B2B environments.
Experience selling complex scientific services across chemistry, biology, and manufacturing disciplines is required.
An established network within biotech and pharmaceutical sectors is highly preferred, along with experience supporting integrated global service models.
This is a flexible remote executive opportunity with fractional time commitment of one to three days per week.
The engagement offers strategic influence at leadership level, exposure to global life sciences markets, and the opportunity to drive measurable commercial growth within a specialized technical sector.
Occasional travel to client meetings, conferences, and leadership workshops is included as part of the role.
