What You Will Be Doing

The Senior Director of Growth will work remotely and is ideally based in the United States or Dublin, with the ability to collaborate across both US and European time zones.

This role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Opportunities and is responsible for developing actionable prospects for new non AI lines of business within a major technology client. The position focuses on expanding Hugo’s presence within large technology organizations by identifying new operational opportunities outside of AI operations.

The role requires identifying key buyers, preparing for and participating in initial and ongoing conversations with prospects, and supporting the process through contract signing when required. Occasional travel may be necessary within the United States, Ireland, and Africa depending on client discussions.

The primary mandate of the role is to open new verticals within a rapidly evolving organization and secure new paid engagements with a key technology client.

Core Responsibilities

Client Account Intelligence and Landscape Mapping

Map the client’s outsourcing landscape across key verticals and business units.

Identify budget owners and decision makers within the organization.

Develop an understanding of existing vendors and procurement processes including preferred vendor arrangements, pilot programs, and competitive evaluation processes.

Opportunity Identification

Prioritize potential opportunities and leads based on accessibility, switching potential, and revenue potential.

Identify pain points within existing vendor relationships and determine how Hugo can address those gaps.

Support the development of clear and compelling value propositions that position Hugo effectively within target opportunities.

Collaborate with the Vice President of Strategic Opportunities and the Solutions Principal to assemble strong service propositions.

Relationship Development and Contracting

Promote Hugo’s services broadly across client organizations.

Organize and coordinate initial client conversations.

Participate in discovery meetings and relationship building with stakeholders.

Navigate internal client structures and approval processes where appropriate.

Support follow up conversations and help guide engagements through contracting.

Key Outcomes

Develop a robust and actionable outsourcing landscape map across non generative AI operations within key technology clients.

Secure at least one paid non generative AI pilot program within a major technology client within six months.

Qualifications

Attributes

Strong credibility with senior peers who previously worked at large technology companies.

High levels of discretion and strong ethical standards when handling internal knowledge.

Strategic thinking combined with a bias toward action.

Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to pursue new and unstructured opportunities.

Required Skills and Experience

Recent experience within the past two years selling into major technology companies such as Meta, Microsoft, or Google.

Deep understanding of how large technology organizations evaluate, approve, and manage vendors.

Proven ability to operate effectively in environments with evolving requirements and shifting priorities.

Strong executive level communication skills and sound judgment in client facing situations.
