The company is hiring a part-time Head of Supply Chain & Fulfilment on a contract basis, requiring 20 to 30 hours per week. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the directors and focused on owning the day-to-day performance and long-term scalability of the supply chain and fulfilment function.
You will oversee how suppliers, systems, partners, and internal teams operate to ensure excellent service delivery, healthy margins, operational resilience, and strong customer satisfaction as the company continues to grow.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining operations leadership, commercial decision-making, team management, and process improvement with real ownership over business performance.
You will lead the supply chain and fulfilment function, ensuring consistent performance, reliability, and scalability across operations.
The role includes managing and developing a small internal team by setting clear expectations, key performance indicators, and a culture of ownership and accountability.
You will build strong relationships with suppliers and external partners while taking responsibility for stock management, costs, risk control, and operational planning in collaboration with company directors.
You will also resolve issues decisively, improve systems and workflows, reduce complexity, minimize errors, and create processes that support future growth.
Additional responsibilities include delivering clear operational reporting, improving forecasting and capacity planning, and contributing to broader business decisions through market awareness and cross-functional collaboration.
Candidates should have significant experience in senior supply chain, fulfilment, or operations leadership roles.
You should have experience working in growing or scaling businesses, with a proven track record of managing and developing teams.
Strong commercial awareness is essential, along with the ability to balance customer service, cost efficiency, and operational risk.
Applicants should be confident managing inventory, suppliers, and external partners while also being systems-minded and practical in designing better processes.
Strong organization, reliability, written communication skills, and a hands-on, self-motivated working style are required.
This is a part-time remote contract role requiring 20 to 30 hours per week with an initial 12-month term and long-term potential.
Compensation ranges from £185 to £210 per day.
The company operates fully remote, and candidates should be located within two hours of GMT to support collaboration.
