Expert Radiology is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to serve as the operational counterbalance to a physician-CEO focused on vision, product, and clinical leadership.
This is a build-focused executive role rather than a maintenance position. The COO will design and lead the operating system required to support rapid scale.
You will own operational execution, financial discipline, team leadership, process development, workforce capacity planning, and execution of growth initiatives.
The role includes significant authority and direct partnership with the CEO.
You will build and own scalable operating infrastructure during a period of rapid company growth.
The role includes designing and implementing MRI workflow systems with multiple margin profiles and strong cost discipline.
You will lead radiologist capacity planning, recruiting pipelines, utilization management, and workforce readiness to stay ahead of demand growth.
You will partner with the CEO on strategic growth initiatives, including potential acquisitions in a fragmented market.
You will own weekly scorecards, operating cadence, KPI reviews, and accountability systems under the EOS framework.
You will lead teams across operations, client services, and technology as headcount scales significantly from the current base.
You will implement HIPAA-compliant agentic AI solutions across the business to increase scalability without equivalent headcount growth.
Candidates should have experience moving from consulting into operating leadership or have at least three years leading operations within a private equity-backed or founder-led healthcare services company.
You should have proven experience scaling teams and systems during periods of 50%+ annual growth.
Applicants must be highly organized, process-oriented, detail-focused, and strong in execution.
Experience partnering with visionary founders and translating strategy into operational results is highly valuable.
Strong understanding of healthcare services economics is required, including credentialing, multi-state licensing, utilization management, and provider recruitment.
Candidates should be comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where systems are being built for the first time.
Base salary ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 depending on experience.
Additional compensation may include equity participation and milestone-based performance bonuses.
Candidates willing to relocate to Puerto Rico may benefit from Act 60 tax advantages, including potentially favorable treatment on equity gains.
