Pellegrin Health Management Group (PHMG) is a healthcare-focused Management Services Organization (MSO) building an innovative telehealth platform designed to improve patient access to high-quality care while supporting physician-led practices.
As an early-stage, founder-led healthcare startup, PHMG is creating a scalable healthcare organization with plans to expand beyond telehealth into multiple service lines and brick-and-mortar medical clinics across the United States. The company's mission is to combine technology-enabled virtual care with exceptional in-person clinical services.
The Role
PHMG is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical leadership for its growing telehealth platform while helping shape the company's long-term clinical strategy.
This executive leadership role begins on a part-time basis and is expected to transition into a full-time position as the organization grows. The Medical Director will work closely with executive leadership to build scalable clinical operations, oversee quality and compliance, and support the future expansion of both virtual and in-person healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for telehealth services.
- Develop and review evidence-based clinical protocols and treatment guidelines.
- Foster a strong clinical culture focused on quality patient outcomes.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state healthcare regulations.
- Lead quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Advise on clinical risk management and patient safety.
Strategy & Growth
- Partner with executive leadership on clinical strategy and service expansion.
- Support the development of new clinical programs and service lines.
- Help plan and oversee future brick-and-mortar medical clinics.
Provider Development
- Support provider onboarding, mentorship, and clinical education.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to build scalable healthcare operations.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license.
- Active, unrestricted Texas medical license required throughout employment.
- Must reside in the United States.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in a relevant specialty.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telehealth or digital healthcare.
- Previous experience as a Medical Director, Chief Medical Officer, physician executive, or similar leadership role.
- Experience launching or scaling healthcare organizations.
