Role Overview

The Regional Director of Sales is responsible for driving multifamily sales performance within an assigned territory through direct sales leadership and channel partner management.

This role oversees regional sales strategy execution, reseller channel development, pipeline management, revenue growth, and customer expansion initiatives across the multifamily housing market.

The position combines enterprise sales leadership, channel sales management, territory operations, and strategic regional growth responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Sales Leadership and Execution

Own and execute regional multifamily sales strategy aligned with national revenue objectives.

Develop district-level sales plans, quotas, targets, and territory growth initiatives.

Identify regional sales trends, risks, and expansion opportunities.

Contribute market insights and recommendations during strategic planning reviews.

Channel Partner and Team Management

Recruit, onboard, train, and manage value-added reseller (VAR) partners.

Coach reseller sales leaders and support internal Account Executives on pipeline development and deal execution.

Monitor performance and contribution across channel and internal sales resources.

Pipeline and Revenue Management

Manage large regional sales pipelines with accountability for forecasting accuracy and revenue attainment.

Monitor sales budgets, expenditures, and profitability metrics.

Drive achievement of annual and monthly revenue targets while optimizing territory performance.

Customer Growth and Market Expansion

Build and maintain relationships with multifamily customers and strategic partners.

Identify and pursue new opportunities across apartment, condominium, and multifamily property markets.

Expand regional market penetration through outreach, relationship development, and partner collaboration.

Product and Market Intelligence

Monitor customer needs, competitor activity, and multifamily market trends.

Provide feedback to internal teams regarding product enhancements, positioning, and customer expectations.

Support trade show participation and industry engagement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong sales leadership and territory management background.

Experience leading remote sales teams and reseller channel partnerships.

Strong pipeline management and forecasting capabilities.

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Results-oriented with strong business and operational acumen.

Required Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience within:

  • Multifamily housing
  • Property management
  • Apartment or condominium services
  • Multifamily sales environments

Experience managing remote sales teams.

Strong preference for experience managing:

  • Reseller channels
  • Dealer networks
  • VAR partnerships

Track record managing:

  • $5M+ sales pipelines
  • 200+ active sales opportunities
  • Multi-representative territories

Consistent history of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
