Inside Track is seeking a Head of Philanthropy to help build and lead the organization’s major donor fundraising capability.
Inside Track focuses on supporting insider-led social and environmental change by helping experienced individuals within influential industries surface critical insights related to harmful systems, incentives, and structures.
The organization operates independently and does not accept corporate, government, or lobbyist funding.
Aligned philanthropic support is central to maintaining the organization’s independence, credibility, and long-term mission.
The Head of Philanthropy will lead the development of the organization’s major donor fundraising strategy and help establish a high-trust, relationship-driven philanthropy function.
The role focuses primarily on building relationships with:
High-net-worth individuals
Family offices
Aligned philanthropists
Senior donor stakeholders
This is a strategic building role intended to help scale fundraising capabilities for a growing mission-driven organization.
Develop and execute a focused major donor fundraising strategy
Build and manage a pipeline of high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and aligned philanthropists
Develop and strengthen the organization’s case for support
Lead or support donor cultivation, fundraising asks, and stewardship activities
Support founders and leadership teams during high-value donor conversations
Bring structure, momentum, and discipline to fundraising operations
Help establish a credible and relationship-led philanthropy function
Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience
At least 3 years managing or delivering major gifts fundraising programs
Demonstrated experience securing donations of £25,000 or more from individual donors
Strong relationship-building, discretion, and stakeholder management skills
Confidence engaging high-net-worth individuals and senior philanthropic stakeholders
Ability to communicate complex and sensitive topics effectively
Strong commitment to social and environmental impact
Experience working with trusts, foundations, or institutional funders considered beneficial

Contract Type: Part-time, initial 12-month contract
Working Pattern: 1–2 days per week, with potential for additional hours later
Salary: £60,000 pro rata
Location: UK-based, remote work with occasional London/in-person meetings
