Executive Director Specialist (Fractional) | Luminary Hospice

You would be responsible for leading the launch and stabilization of new hospice locations, ensuring operations, compliance, and leadership teams are set up to perform effectively. This role works closely with executive leadership to support new market entry, build operational systems, and guide teams through early-stage growth and transition periods.

What You’ll Do

You will lead new market launches and hospice startup operations, including setting up workflows, staffing structures, and operational infrastructure. You will support licensing, regulatory readiness, and compliance requirements while ensuring each new location is prepared for patient services.

You will also coach and develop Executive Directors and leadership teams, helping them manage operations, improve performance, and maintain strong standards of care. In addition, you will monitor financial and operational performance, support efficiency improvements, and step in as interim leadership during transitions or periods of instability.

Who You Are

You have experience in hospice or healthcare operations, with a strong background in launching or scaling new locations. You are comfortable leading teams, improving performance, and navigating complex regulatory environments.

You bring strong operational, financial, and leadership skills, along with the ability to step into fast-moving environments, assess needs quickly, and implement effective solutions.
