Sierra Medical is a healthcare technology company developing a clinically validated infrared spectral intelligence platform powered by explainable AI.
Its first deployment, AIR-DS Lung, focuses on early lung cancer detection using standard laboratory infrastructure and has demonstrated validation accuracy above 90%.
The company has recently entered a growth phase marked by IRB approval at a major U.S. cancer center, multi-site validation studies, launch of its first clinically deployable diagnostic system, expanding U.S. operations, investor discussions, and increasing demand from laboratories and health systems.
Sierra Medical is now transitioning from clinical validation into structured commercialization.
Sierra Medical is selectively expanding its board through the appointment of Executive Board Partners.
This role is separate from formal board membership but works in close strategic alignment with governance and ownership.
The opportunity is designed for senior operators, executives, and capital allocators who want to participate at a key commercial inflection point in the company’s growth.
Engagement is strategic and periodic rather than operational, with intentionally limited participation.
You will contribute strategic guidance related to commercialization, scaling, and long-term expansion of the company’s spectral intelligence platform.
The role includes sharing insight on cross-sector growth opportunities across healthcare, industrial analytics, materials science, infrastructure, agriculture, and related markets.
You will participate through capital-aligned ownership involvement and provide long-term platform perspective as the company moves toward revenue growth.
You will gain visibility into governance-level priorities and support high-level decision-making through experience, judgment, and market insight.
Candidates should have at least ten years of leadership experience in one or more relevant sectors.
Preferred backgrounds include healthcare systems, diagnostics, regulated commercialization, deep technology, AI/ML infrastructure, advanced materials, aerospace, energy innovation, industrial analytics, enterprise software, or technical platforms.
Applicants with executive leadership experience such as CEO, COO, CTO, CCO, President, or senior vice president roles are highly valued.
Experience in angel investing, venture capital participation, capital allocation, prior board service, governance, or strategic oversight is beneficial.
The company is particularly interested in leaders who think in platform terms, have scaled technical infrastructure, operate effectively in regulated markets, and approach opportunities as long-term owners rather than outside advisors.
This is an equity-based board opportunity aligned with ownership participation in the company.
The role offers access to a company at a commercialization inflection point where scientific validation, regulatory progress, and market demand are converging.
You will have the opportunity to support a platform with potential applications across healthcare and multiple future industrial sectors while contributing at a strategic leadership level.
