About Todai Health
Todai Health is an early-stage healthtech company building the “Home Layer” of healthcare. The company connects individuals living with chronic conditions, starting with diabetes, to Certified Care Mentors who provide peer support between clinical visits.
Todai Health is currently in the early MVP stage, focused on the US patient market, with plans for longer-term expansion across North America.
The Role
Todai Health is seeking a strategic, high-trust Go-to-Market Co-Founder to build and execute its commercial strategy during the MVP stage.
The role will focus on developing distribution through trusted partners, recruiting early participants, building the partner pipeline, and turning market conversations into a repeatable commercial engine. This is a hands-on co-founder position requiring direct involvement in outreach, discovery, CRM management, LOI conversations, and playbook development.
The role requires approximately 20 hours per week and combines partner-facing commercial strategy with disciplined pipeline execution in a regulated healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Pipeline & Institutional Outreach
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with nonprofits, diabetes communities, health coaches, educators, advocacy leaders, and early institutional partners across the US.
- Progress conversations toward letters of interest, pilot commitments, and partner-assisted recruitment.
- Maintain rigorous qualification standards and focus on meaningful commercial opportunities.
Discovery, Messaging & Positioning
- Conduct and refine discovery conversations with partners and advocates.
- Test and develop messaging for outreach and partner materials.
- Identify language that resonates with target audiences without over-promising.
- Maintain appropriate clinical and legal boundaries around product positioning and claims.
CRM & Commercial Infrastructure
- Build and maintain the company's pipeline system.
- Establish pipeline stages aligned with the buyer journey.
- Maintain follow-up discipline, win/loss notes, and reliable reporting.
- Develop lean commercial infrastructure rather than relying on an existing RevOps function.
Trust-First Channel Development
- Develop partner-facing and community-adjacent channels where trust is established through value rather than product pitching.
- Support advocate and leader outreach and partner newsletter initiatives.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Product co-founders without duplicating patient-facing content owned by other team members.
Cohort & Partner-Supported Growth
- Help recruit appropriate members and mentors for the beta through partner channels and advocate introductions.
- Conduct structured discovery interviews with partners and early users.
- Feed market and user insights back into product development.
GTM Playbook & Scale
- Document the ideal customer profile (ICP), anti-personas, objections, and case studies.
- Develop GTM Playbook v1.
- Create a transferable commercial motion that can eventually be operated by a future commercial hire.
Strategic Co-Founder Participation
- Participate in founder-level decisions regarding commercial priorities, channel strategy, and GTM assumptions.
- Work collaboratively with the founding team to shape the company's commercial direction.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated 0-to-1 go-to-market and partnership experience, including building self-sourced pipeline and commercial processes from scratch.
- Experience operating in healthtech or other trust-sensitive, evidence-driven markets.
- Comfortable with pilots, letters of interest, land-and-expand models, and longer partner-driven sales cycles.
- Strong listening and qualification skills, with the ability to identify patterns, objections, and poor-fit opportunities.
- Excellent writing skills and the ability to create effective outreach, follow-ups, and partner materials.
- Strong discovery and commercial communication skills.
- Exceptional command of English and working knowledge of the US healthcare consumer, advocacy, and nonprofit/partner landscape.
- Understanding of chronic disease markets, particularly diabetes, is relevant.
- Strong understanding of appropriate boundaries between peer support, clinical care, therapy, and AI-enabled services.
- Willingness to work as a co-founder with equity, shared ownership, and significant ambiguity.
- Ability to work at founder pace and remain hands-on throughout the early-stage build.
What This Role Is Not
- Investor fundraising, pitch deck, or data room ownership.
- A VP Sales role with a team to manage.
- Patient-facing viral content, Reels, or community entertainment.
- Scaled paid media before organic messaging is proven.
- A fully developed commercial playbook from day one.
Compensation
- Initial equity-based compensation as an official co-founder and founding team member.
- Structured part-time salary following completion of the upcoming investment round.
- Potential transition to full-time, salaried commercial leadership as the organization scales.
Time Commitment
- Approximately 20 hours per week.
- Fully remote.
- Mandatory weekly team syncs on Saturday mornings Eastern Time.
