The Role
The Fractional VP Sales will lead LinenTech's sales strategy and execution, overseeing the end-to-end sales cycle from pipeline development through closing.
The role will focus on winning new business with commercial laundry operators and related industries while improving sales processes, coaching sales resources, identifying new market opportunities, and aligning sales execution with product and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute LinenTech's sales strategy.
- Set sales targets and monitor performance against goals.
- Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, pipeline development, solution-focused selling, negotiation, and closing.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across commercial laundry and related markets.
- Refine pricing and packaging strategies to support revenue growth.
Sales Operations
- Build and manage the sales pipeline.
- Develop forecasts and monitor sales performance metrics.
- Optimize sales processes, tools, and workflows.
- Use CRM systems, analytics, and performance dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure a consistent, customer-centric sales experience.
Team Leadership
- Coach and support sales team members or contractors.
- Provide sales leadership across dispersed remote teams.
- Establish scalable sales processes and standards.
- Collaborate with leadership to align sales execution with broader company objectives.
Market & Customer Development
- Identify new market opportunities and potential customer segments.
- Build and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Support long-term account growth and expansion.
- Partner closely with Product and Marketing on go-to-market initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in Sales and Business Development, including revenue growth and new-account acquisition.
- Experience in Sales Management and Sales Operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, and scalable sales processes.
- Strong Account Management capabilities with a focus on long-term customer relationships and account growth.
- Background in B2B SaaS or technology solutions, ideally within operations-heavy industries such as commercial services or logistics.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills in remote environments.
- Comfortable with CRM systems, analytics, and performance dashboards.
- Ability to make data-driven commercial decisions.
- Experience in fractional, part-time executive, or consulting engagements is beneficial.
- Ability to integrate quickly into an existing leadership structure.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
