- Performance-based media and audience growth

The company is expanding its commercial relationships across entertainment, gaming, media, consumer brands, agencies, PR firms, and emerging content platforms.
The Role
The company is seeking a senior, highly connected industry executive to help expand its presence within the media and entertainment ecosystem.
This is not a cold-outbound sales or traditional lead-generation role. The ideal candidate will already have active, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers across relevant industries and will use those relationships to create introductions, identify commercial opportunities, and support new business development.
The role can be structured as a fractional executive, independent consultant, or senior industry advisor. It does not need to be full-time but must be commercially active and outcome-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Introduce the company to senior marketing, publicity, digital, social, media, partnerships, and agency decision-makers.
- Identify upcoming films, television releases, video game launches, brand campaigns, and other timely commercial opportunities.
- Develop strategic relationships with agencies and PR firms that can generate multiple client opportunities.
- Help convert initial introductions into paid pilot campaigns, retainers, licensing arrangements, or broader partnerships.
- Navigate complex organizations to reach budget owners and decision-makers.
- Maintain momentum with introduced accounts and support follow-up throughout the sales process.
Commercial Strategy
- Help position the company's social distribution, content, creator, and cultural-marketing capabilities for different industries.
- Advise on how services should be packaged, priced, and presented to studios, publishers, agencies, brands, and PR firms.
- Participate in introductory meetings, pitches, proposal development, and commercial negotiations.
- Help determine which entertainment and media verticals offer the strongest immediate commercial opportunities.
Industry Relationships & Representation
- Represent the company at relevant conferences, festivals, screenings, launches, dinners, and industry events.
- Provide insight into industry buying cycles, campaign planning, procurement, and partnership structures.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders across target entertainment and media organizations.
Ideal Background
The candidate may have previously held a senior role at a:
- Movie studio or streaming platform
- Video game publisher
- Entertainment marketing agency
- Public relations firm
- Digital media company
- Advertising, creative, or media agency
- Talent agency or management company
- Influencer or creator-marketing company
- Record label or music company
- Brand partnerships or integrated-marketing organization
Qualifications
- Approximately 8 or more years of relevant experience in media, entertainment, gaming, advertising, PR, partnerships, or business development.
- Active relationships with senior decision-makers in at least two target categories.
- Demonstrated history of originating, influencing, or closing meaningful commercial partnerships.
- Direct access to budget owners rather than only junior-level industry contacts.
- Strong understanding of entertainment marketing, digital media, social content, publicity, creators, and internet culture.
- Ability to translate broad capabilities into clear, customized commercial opportunities.
- Experience participating in senior-level pitches, negotiations, and partnership discussions.
- Strong communication, presentation, relationship-management, and commercial judgment.
- Ability to operate independently and represent the company credibly.
- Willingness to actively use your relationships rather than only provide strategic advice.
