Phoenix is an expanding global leadership advisory platform supporting CEOs, boards and investors on leadership strategy, succession planning and growth. Established in 2018, Phoenix now has offices across Europe, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
As part of this expansion, Phoenix is inviting a select number of Senior Advisors to join the platform. These are highly experienced commercial leaders with strong sector relationships who want to leverage their network within a structured advisory environment.
Senior Advisors work alongside the Phoenix team to originate and support leadership advisory mandates across areas including executive search, board appointments, succession planning, and strategic leadership advisory.
This model is designed for senior professionals who regularly encounter leadership hiring and governance discussions within their network and want to convert those opportunities through a capable advisory platform without the burden of running infrastructure or delivery teams.
Phoenix works with private equity investors, financial institutions, and high growth companies across Europe and North America. The firm advises on leadership and organizational strategy during critical phases of growth and transformation.
The platform combines deep sector expertise, global talent mapping, AI enabled research and sourcing, experienced delivery teams, and a strong international client network.
This infrastructure enables Senior Advisors to focus on strategic relationships and opportunity origination while Phoenix manages execution and operational delivery.
Senior Advisors play a strategic commercial role within the Phoenix platform.
They work closely with CEOs, investors, and senior leadership teams to identify leadership needs and introduce Phoenix’s advisory capabilities across areas including executive leadership appointments, board and governance advisory, CEO and senior leadership succession planning, private equity portfolio leadership strategy, and strategic talent mapping for growth organizations.
Senior Advisors are not expected to manage day to day delivery processes, as these are handled by Phoenix’s research and delivery teams.
Senior Advisors contribute to the Phoenix platform by leveraging their professional network to identify leadership advisory opportunities.
They introduce Phoenix to CEOs, boards, investors, and senior leadership teams while advising clients on leadership strategy and organizational development.
The role also involves supporting mandate scoping and client engagement discussions, collaborating with Phoenix teams to convert opportunities into executed mandates, and strengthening Phoenix’s presence within their sector ecosystem.
Phoenix is particularly interested in individuals with established credibility and networks within sectors such as investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, asset management, professional services, financial services, technology and fintech, and healthcare and life sciences.
Typical profiles include former investment banking or advisory partners, senior leaders from consulting or professional services firms, private equity operating partners, former CEOs or CFOs with strong board level relationships, experienced sector specialists with established leadership networks, Chief People Officers, Heads of HR, and executive search leaders.
Successful Senior Advisors typically demonstrate a strong professional network at the CEO, board, or investor level.
They possess strong commercial instincts, relationship building capability, credibility within a defined industry sector, and strategic thinking around leadership and organizational growth.
An entrepreneurial and independent mindset is also essential.
