Evren Technologies is a medical device company developing Phoenix, a first of its kind treatment for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder using non invasive transauricular vagus nerve stimulation. Phoenix has received FDA Breakthrough Device Designation and will soon enter FDA pivotal trials.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder affects more than 13 million Americans. Despite its prevalence, many patients receive limited relief from current standards of care, which rely heavily on pharmaceuticals and exposure based therapies that often involve side effects, compliance challenges, and high dropout rates.
The Phoenix system is designed to restore autonomic nervous system balance through a closed loop ear level neuromodulation device. This allows patients to receive treatment safely, non invasively, and at home. The platform is supported by clinical evidence and active engagement with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the National Institutes of Health, and the Department of Defense research ecosystem.
Evren’s mission is to deliver an evidence based, effective, safe, scalable, and accessible treatment for PTSD that improves quality of life while reducing dependence on drugs and office based therapies. The Phoenix also provides a discreet home based option for individuals who prefer alternatives to standard treatment approaches.
