The Role
Coursera + Udemy is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Enterprise GM to operate across functional teams and drive company-wide strategic alignment and transformation.
The role will serve as a company-level thought partner, leading cross-functional initiatives, synthesising insights across functions and ensuring long-term priorities are executed cohesively. The Chief of Staff will work across multiple executives and organisations to strengthen leadership alignment, operating systems and execution at scale.
Key Objectives
- Support Enterprise GM multi-year strategies that drive financial performance.
- Drive integration across functions around strategy, priorities and resource allocation.
- Enable sustainable operational excellence, including organisational cadence and governance.
- Drive strategic decision-making at the executive level.
- Shape and steer multi-function initiatives that advance company strategy and the operating model.
- Improve cross-functional collaboration to support company- and organisation-level priorities.
- Identify and proactively address systemic organisational challenges affecting multiple functions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Business Planning
- Partner with Finance, HR and Executive Assistant functions to develop and execute two- to three-year strategic plans.
- Align strategic plans with company objectives and measurable business impact.
- Provide strategic counsel to the Enterprise GM on critical business decisions.
- Deliver sophisticated analysis and recommendations incorporating appropriate executive and stakeholder input.
Operating Model & Transformation
- Design and implement operating models that enable scale while maintaining agility.
- Architect and execute complex organisational change, including structural changes, process improvements and cultural shifts.
- Synthesise insights across multiple business areas to inform company-level trade-offs and sequencing.
Executive Alignment & Stakeholder Management
- Support multi-executive alignment on strategic priorities and resource allocation.
- Build and maintain influential relationships with senior management, including VP-level leaders and above.
- Enable rapid mobilisation of strategic initiatives across the organisation.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in business management, strategy or executive advisory roles.
- In-depth experience driving results within a B2B, preferably SaaS, revenue organisation such as Revenue Operations, Sales or GTM.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-year transformation initiatives.
- Track record of influencing executive-level decisions and driving organisational change.
- Deep expertise in organisational design and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results in rapidly evolving environments.
- Superior strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
- Outstanding executive presence and communication skills.
- Experience managing high-stakes stakeholder relationships at the senior management level, including VP+.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree.
- Experience managing a large, global organisation of 30+ FTE.
- Track record of successful P&L management.
- Experience serving as an interim executive leader.
- Experience delivering company-level transformation as a cross-functional leader.
Compensation
The role is offered across four U.S. pay zones:
