The Role

Searchmark is seeking an experienced finance leader to provide part-time strategic and operational financial guidance.

The Fractional CFO will partner directly with leadership to optimise financial performance, manage risk and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Planning

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Provide actionable insights through financial analysis and reporting.

Growth & Corporate Finance

• Support fundraising, investor relations and M&A activities.
• Advise on capital allocation and cost optimisation.

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
• Support leadership in managing financial risk.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in senior finance roles, including CFO or equivalent.
• Proven track record in strategic planning and financial leadership.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in bootstrapped software companies or technology startups preferred.
• CPA, CFA or MBA is a plus but not required.
