Fertility Providers Alliance (FPA) is seeking a strategic and mission-driven Executive Director to lead the organization forward.
Location: Remote (United States)
Position Type: Part-Time, 40 hours per month, 1099 Independent Contractor
Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
The Fertility Providers Alliance (FPA) is a national advocacy organization dedicated to protecting, promoting, and expanding access to fertility care. The organization works at the intersection of healthcare, policy, and public engagement to ensure patients and providers have a strong and unified voice in shaping reproductive health policy.
The Executive Director is the chief leader of FPA and is responsible for setting direction, driving national advocacy efforts, and building coalitions that expand access to fertility care across the country.
This role is highly visible and combines policy leadership, political strategy, communications, and organizational management. The Executive Director serves as the public face of the organization and is a key voice with policymakers and strategic partners.
Lead FPA’s national strategy and advocacy agenda.
Monitor and respond to federal and state policy developments affecting fertility care.
Develop policy positions, issue briefs, and model legislation.
Build and mobilize a national network of advocates and members.
Lead rapid-response advocacy initiatives and coalition-building efforts.
Oversee communications strategy, messaging, and public engagement.
Plan and execute Advocacy Days, trainings, and stakeholder events.
Direct political fundraising strategy and ensure regulatory compliance.
Oversee organizational operations, budgeting, and financial reporting.
10+ years of experience in public policy, government affairs, advocacy, or related fields.
Strong background in healthcare policy. Experience in reproductive or women’s health is preferred.
Proven success in legislative strategy, grassroots mobilization, and coalition building.
Deep understanding of state and federal legislative and regulatory processes.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, manage operations, and oversee budgets.
Politically savvy with credibility among policymakers and advocacy stakeholders.
Strong strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate policy trends and respond quickly.
Skilled coalition builder who can align diverse stakeholders around shared goals.
