Lucem Health was created with Mayo Clinic in 2021 to make clinical AI practical and effective in real healthcare environments.
The company’s vision is a world where clinicians detect problems before they become life-threatening and patients receive world-class care everywhere.
Lucem Health focuses on proactive care delivery through early disease detection solutions that are easy to implement and do not require clinicians to change how they practice medicine.
The company also uses an innovative business model that aligns healthcare providers and life sciences organizations to fund deployment of proactive care programs.
Lucem Health is assembling a Health System Operations Advisory Board composed of senior healthcare leaders.
As Executive Advisor, Health System Operations, you will provide strategic guidance and operational insight to help shape the company’s commercial and product strategies.
This role is designed for a current senior executive within an Integrated Delivery Network, Academic Medical Center, or large community health system.
You will serve as a strategic sounding board to leadership, helping ensure Lucem’s clinical AI solutions align with provider realities.
You will advise leadership on the operational realities of healthcare systems, including staffing pressures, throughput, service line growth, and value-based care demands.
The role includes stress-testing go-to-market strategy, business cases, and value propositions for relevance with health system decision-makers.
You will provide market intelligence on regulatory shifts, provider economics, and healthcare technology adoption trends.
You will work with product and commercial teams to validate workflow integration and ensure minimal friction for clinicians and administrators.
You will review pilot programs and implementation plans to identify operational blind spots, EHR integration challenges, and governance risks.
You will help design pilots that convert into long-term multi-year enterprise agreements.
You will participate in advisory board meetings and offer candid, evidence-based guidance.
You may also amplify Lucem Health’s vision within your professional network.
Candidates should have at least 15 years of progressive executive leadership experience in healthcare operations, administration, or strategy.
You should currently hold a senior role such as COO, Chief Strategy Officer, VP of Operations, or equivalent within an IDN, AMC, or large community health system.
Deep understanding of provider economics, clinical operations, procurement cycles, and compliance requirements is essential.
Experience with EHR integration environments such as Epic or Oracle is strongly preferred.
Applicants should have a track record of evaluating, adopting, or scaling innovative healthcare technologies, especially AI or data-driven solutions.
Strong judgment, willingness to challenge assumptions, and commitment to execution excellence are important.
Candidates should be mission-driven and aligned with improving patient outcomes through practical innovation.
This is an opportunity to help shape the future of clinical AI alongside a company created with Mayo Clinic.
You will influence product strategy, commercial execution, and healthcare adoption at a meaningful level.
The role offers high-impact advisory engagement with senior leadership while contributing to better proactive care outcomes.
