The Role
Lightspeed is seeking a Head of Revenue Operations to lead its global Revenue Operations organization. Reporting directly to the SVP, Systems & Revenue Operations, this executive will oversee Revenue Operations, Planning, Forecasting, Sales Commissions, Regional Sales Operations, and Go-to-Market (GTM) Systems.
The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to optimize revenue operations, improve forecasting accuracy, and drive scalable global growth.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Operations Leadership
- Lead global Revenue Operations across planning, forecasting, sales operations, commissions, and GTM systems.
- Drive operational excellence to support global revenue growth initiatives.
- Ensure alignment across global sales organizations and revenue teams.
- Develop and execute scalable revenue operations strategies.
Strategic Planning & Growth
- Partner with executive leadership on annual GTM planning and revenue strategy.
- Establish performance metrics, operational processes, and scalable planning frameworks.
- Identify strategic opportunities to improve operational efficiency and business performance.
- Influence organizational priorities through data-driven decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, and IT teams to support revenue growth.
- Collaborate with Sales Strategy and GTM teams to improve performance analytics and commercial execution.
- Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders across the organization.
Systems, Analytics & Process Improvement
- Develop and implement processes and technologies that improve revenue operations.
- Optimize forecasting, pipeline management, commissions, and GTM systems.
- Leverage analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and support executive decision-making.
- Drive continuous improvement across global revenue operations.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global Revenue Operations team.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance remote culture.
- Support onboarding, professional development, and long-term team growth.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, GTM Operations, Strategy, FP&A, or related leadership roles.
- Experience leading Revenue Operations within a global SaaS organization.
- Proven success developing and executing revenue growth strategies.
- Strong leadership experience managing geographically distributed teams.
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Excellent analytical, forecasting, and business planning skills.
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in English.
Preferred Experience
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
- Experience leading AI transformation initiatives within Revenue Operations.
- Background in strategy consulting or strategic marketing.
- Experience building scalable revenue operations processes for high-growth organizations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $180,000–$250,000
