Philanthrope is supporting Inside Track with the appointment of a Head of Public Affairs.
This is not a conventional public affairs role.
Inside Track is seeking a senior public affairs leader for a part-time, public-facing position operating at the intersection of policy, media, institutional influence, and public-interest change.
The primary focus of the role is delivery — helping Inside Track establish trusted access to individuals and institutions with the authority, influence, or editorial judgment to drive action.
The successful candidate will be credible with:
Ministers
Government advisers
Civil servants
Regulators
Policy makers
Editors
Journalists
The role also requires comfort with publicly representing and being associated with Inside Track’s work using strong professional judgment.
This opportunity is intended for someone who understands how institutional power operates, how decisions are influenced, and how to build trust with senior stakeholders.
Media relations and PR experience are considered beneficial, particularly where they support public affairs objectives. However, this role is public affairs-led rather than PR-first.
Role: Head of Public Affairs
Organization: Inside Track
Working Pattern: 2 days per week initially, with potential for increased scope
Salary: £60,000 pro rata
Location: UK-based, with regular time required in London

Inside Track welcomes applications from individuals of all backgrounds.
Selection decisions will be based on role criteria, candidate experience, and demonstrated ability to deliver against the role requirements.
