
The Senior Workday Security Architect will lead a fixed-duration Workday security assessment and optimization initiative focused on improving security architecture, governance, compliance, scalability, and operational efficiency within a live Workday environment.
This role is highly specialized and hands-on, requiring deep expertise across Workday security configuration, access governance, role-based security models, and enterprise-scale Workday tenant architecture.
The position focuses on assessing current-state security configurations, identifying risks and inefficiencies, and delivering actionable remediation and optimization recommendations.
Design, assess, and optimize Workday security architecture across:
Evaluate tenant-level security controls and access governance structures.
Review and optimize:
Assess organization-based, segment-based, and intersection security models.
Identify:
Provide remediation recommendations aligned with Workday best practices.
Partner with:
Gather security requirements and align governance practices with operational needs.
Troubleshoot security-related issues affecting:
Support testing, validation, documentation, and remediation planning activities.
Assist with:
Provide knowledge transfer and operational guidance to internal Workday support teams.
7+ years of Workday experience with strong specialization in Workday Security.
Hands-on expertise with:
Strong understanding of:
Experience working within live production Workday tenants.
Ability to independently assess configurations and provide scalable remediation recommendations.
Strong stakeholder communication and documentation capabilities.
Must be based in the United States.
