The Assistant Vice President, AWS Business Group Practice Lead is a senior technology leadership role focused on driving cloud and platform-based business growth across AWS and Databricks ecosystems.
The position combines solution strategy, presales leadership, alliance collaboration, cloud architecture expertise, and go-to-market execution to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
The role works closely with business group leadership, alliance teams, sales organizations, and technical stakeholders to develop differentiated offerings and drive cloud solution adoption.
Support the development and evolution of AWS and Databricks solution offerings.
Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and sales teams to operationalize go-to-market initiatives.
Provide hands-on presales and client solutioning support.
Engage with enterprise clients during both sales and delivery phases.
Support cloud solution adoption and business growth initiatives.
Partner with AWS and Databricks alliance leadership teams.
Support joint initiatives and strategic collaboration activities.
Help strengthen ecosystem relationships and shared go-to-market execution.
Leverage company intellectual property and industry expertise to create differentiated cloud offerings.
Identify and develop solutions combining proprietary IP with AWS and Databricks capabilities.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on joint GTM strategies.
Support development of messaging, collateral, and sales enablement assets.
Drive cloud-focused business development initiatives.
Contribute to architecture, design, and development of AWS and Databricks solutions.
Ensure solutions align with cloud best practices, standards, and compliance requirements.
Support scalable enterprise transformation initiatives.
Contribute to webinars, whitepapers, industry events, and innovation initiatives.
Help position the AWS and Databricks Business Group as an industry thought leader.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum eight years of leadership experience within technology consulting, system integration, or related industries.
Strong expertise in AWS and/or Databricks ecosystems.
Experience with cloud architecture, cloud services, and enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.
AWS and/or Databricks certifications preferred.
Strong business strategy, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience building partnerships with clients, internal teams, and technology partners.
Track record of driving innovation and go-to-market initiatives.
Experience leading high-performing teams and collaborative technology environments.
