Part-Time Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Silver Hook Capital | Biotech & Medical Division

Silver Hook Capital is expanding its Biotech & Medical Division and is seeking a seasoned Part-Time CFO with deep experience in medical and biotech startups, particularly in expansion-stage and growth-phase business models.

This role is designed as a strategic part-time engagement during expansion, with the potential to transition into a full-time leadership position as the platform scales.

We are not looking for a maintenance CFO. We are looking for a strategic financial operator who can bring clarity, discipline, and investor-grade rigor to complex biotech and medical service models.

Silver Hook Capital is building and scaling healthcare and biotechnology ventures focused on regenerative medicine, clinical platforms, and scalable biomedical services. Our initiatives blend scientific advancement with disciplined capital strategy.

As we enter expansion mode, financial modeling precision and capital architecture become critical.

Role Overview

You will work directly with ownership and executive leadership to:

• Clarify and stress-test key assumptions embedded in financial models

• Solidify revenue, margin, and capital deployment forecasts

• Structure and evaluate debt and capital strategies

• Support institutional capital preparation

• Analyze service-line profitability within biomedical or clinical models

• Implement financial infrastructure appropriate for scale

We are particularly interested in candidates with insight into:

• Biotech commercialization pathways

• Clinical or laboratory-based service revenue models

• Expansion-stage healthcare operations

Ideal Background

• Prior CFO or senior finance leadership in biotech or medical startups

• Experience guiding companies from pre-revenue to scalable revenue

• Strong financial modeling and capital structuring expertise

• Experience supporting investor diligence and capital raises

• Comfortable in founder-led, entrepreneurial environments

• Bonus: Experience with cGMP labs, medical service expansion, or clinical platform buildouts
