The firm is seeking an entrepreneurial VP of Capital Formation & Community to lead co-investments, fundraising and the development of a world-class investor and founder ecosystem.

The Role

The VP of Capital Formation & Community will operate at the intersection of co-investing, capital raising and community development.

The role will own the investor pipeline from initial introduction through close while building a scalable platform that engages Limited Partners (LPs), portfolio founders and industry experts.

The primary focus is on leveraging existing investor relationships to secure capital commitments while developing community infrastructure that strengthens the firm's network and market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Capital Formation & Fundraising

• Leverage existing networks to source, pitch and secure capital commitments from angels, UHNWIs and family offices.
• Build and manage a structured capital-raising pipeline from initial outreach through final close.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the LP network.
• Deliver institutional-grade investor updates, reporting and quarterly insights.

Community & Ecosystem Development

• Design and manage digital platforms and high-touch initiatives connecting LPs, portfolio founders and industry experts.
• Organise exclusive virtual and in-person events, including LP dinners, founder masterclasses and community summits.
• Partner with leadership to strengthen Axci Capital's market presence through content, newsletters and network updates.

Qualifications

• Extensive, pre-existing and active network of accredited investors, UHNWIs, angels and family offices.
• 5+ years of experience across venture capital, private equity, private wealth management or institutional capital raising.
• Proven track record managing long-cycle relationship sales and closing multi-million-dollar capital commitments.
• Experience building engaging ecosystems that connect investors, founders and other stakeholders.
• Strong autonomy and self-starting discipline.
• Ability to manage a global investor pipeline in a fully remote environment.
• Strong relationship management and community-building skills.
