Head of People & Performance

The Head of People & Performance will be responsible for maintaining and strengthening a high-performance culture as the company scales.
Operating as an Individual Contributor within the L1 Leadership Group, the role focuses on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, people operations, and scalable workforce practices.
Lead the development and adoption of organizational OKR frameworks
Drive accountability and measurable business outcomes across teams
Ensure performance systems remain focused on execution and results
Lead the internal leadership development program
Deliver leadership training aligned with established roadmaps
Facilitate development programs for the L1 Leadership Group
Promote practical application of leadership principles
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and line managers
Provide guidance on performance, culture, and organizational development
Lead employee relations matters while balancing risk and culture considerations
Manage people reporting, audits, and compliance documentation
Use workforce data and insights to support decision-making
Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency and productivity
Identify scalable, AI-enabled people operations processes
Drive operational effectiveness and process improvement initiatives
Support onboarding, probation, performance, development, and reward programs
Improve employee experience from recruitment through offboarding
Contribute to compensation reviews and performance-based reward strategies
Help reinforce company culture and performance expectations throughout the employee lifecycle.
Proven experience building high-performance cultures within scaling organizations
Strong experience designing and implementing OKR frameworks
Experience influencing senior leaders and driving accountability
Leadership development and management coaching experience
Strong facilitation and training capabilities
Employee Relations expertise
Experience advising leadership teams on performance and culture
Strong reporting, compliance, and operational discipline
Experience using workforce analytics and people data
Experience implementing scalable operational processes
Demonstrated use of AI tools and automation to improve productivity
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience supporting onboarding, performance management, development, and compensation programs
Comfortable operating as a hands-on Individual Contributor
Experience within high-growth, technology, or mission-driven organizations preferred.
